Directions for Making a Donation of Equipment

Notice 10/15/2026 - Beginning today, due to overwhelming generosity and limited staff we must put a hold on accepting most donations.  This hold will probably extend through December.

We will continue to accept:
  • Shower & bath equipment
  • Manual wheelchairs
  • Rollators
  • Adapted strollers & pediatric equipment
  • AT Equipment
  • Power scooters
  • Basic power wheelchairs (no elevation, tilt, etc.)
This hold includes CPAPs and supplies.

Please note: we do not accept hospital beds. View the list of device types that REquipment currently accepts for donation.

REquipment accepts durable home medical and assistive technology devices that are gently used and under five years old. Exceptions may be made if a device is in good condition, in high demand, of high value, or unusual.  REquipment, Inc., is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, and can provide a donation receipt for tax purposes, but cannot assign a value or provide an IRS Form 8283. If you have a power wheelchair to donate, we request recent pictures in order to consider this equipment.

Once a device is approved for donation, we schedule a time for donors to leave it at one of our drop-off locations. Drop-off locations in Salem, Worcester, E. Bridgewater, New Bedford, Amherst, and Pittsfield are available by appointment. If necessary, our driver can come to collect. Due to high demand and limited staffing, our pick-up service can take two or more weeks. Learn more about our statewide pick-up and delivery options.

All donation items require pictures to be accepted, if you have trouble attaching the photos to this form, please send them to pics@dmereuse.org with the reference number provided on the next page.
